WORSHIP AIDES MAY - JUNE

HOPE CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH

MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE, 9:30 A.M.

Sunday, May 11, 2008

Pastor Todd Zuidema

Welcome to all who are worshiping with us this Lord’s Day!

The Lord desires our presence in His house of worship – because we are his children. "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called the children of God!

and that is what we are." 1 John 3:1

Gathering and Greeting

MUSICAL PRELUDE

WELCOME & ANNOUNCEMENTS

CALL TO WORSHIP - Litany

Pastor: Winter to Spring, the cold white of snow to a canvas of color.

People: The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it,

the world, and all who live in it.

Pastor: The water of the sacrament at Baptism, the fire of the Holy Spirit

at Pentecost.

People: We are washed clean and anointed; by grace we are covenant claimed and empowered to serve in God’s Kingdom.

Pastor: We give thanks to God for mothers who raise their children in the

Lord. May God bless them in their task.

People: For the work completed and the tasks that continue, may we

lift up mothers, fathers, and caregivers together, asking God

to be at the center of our homes.

Pastor: Peter preached the Gospel on that Pentecost Day, "Repent and be

baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the

forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the

Holy Spirit."

People: The promise is for us and our children and for all who are far

off – for all whom the Lord our God will call." Thanks be to
